The Perloff Foundation has funded a total of 73 Robotics Programs: 67 in Maine and 6 in Charlotte County, New Brunswick, Canada. More than half of these programs are located in economically disadvantaged areas, with the greatest concentration in Washington County.

We find that not only is robotics gender neutral, but is equally successful in engaging special needs students. The level of enthusiasm in robotics is consistent across the state, irrespective of location or socio-economic factors.
